Sara Florida is a seasoned wellness professional with over 16 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. Beginning her career in health and life insurance, Sara soon discovered her passion for helping individuals improve their health and well-being. Her journey in the field has seen her transition from roles in health education and coaching to becoming a certified yoga instructor and professional acupuncturist.
As an Acupuncturist and Herbalist at Heal Your Vibe in Houston, TX, Sara effectively provides patient care, specializing in mind-gut health and treating over 80 chronic conditions. Prior to this, she served as an Acupuncturist and Community Outreach Manager at WeMED Wellness Center, where she contributed to building a successful practice through community engagement.
Sara’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles extends beyond her professional endeavors. As the owner of Urban Healthy Lifestyles, she dedicated herself to educating the community about healthy, green, and natural lifestyles through events and publications.
Throughout her career, Sara has pursued advanced education, earning a Doctorate in Emotional Health from the University of Sedona and completing an externship in TCM Integrated Medicine in China. She holds a Master’s in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Sara’s expertise encompasses a wide range of skills, including acupuncture, coaching, marketing, event planning, and customer service. Her dedication to continuous learning and development is evident through her certifications in yoga instruction, functional medicine, and emotional health coaching.
